Mad Props to Ya!

Well heck. We're only this many fingers old and we're already doing our part to make the magic happen.

Seriously, though: MVP is celebrating its first birthday by sharing our Artists' success stories.

In a business where your project is literally one in thousands, every artist needs two things in order to get noticed: a fantastic project, and an edge.

The MVP Artists you'll read about below already had fantastic projects. We like to think we provided the edge. (Not this Edge, although we'd love to murder a Guiness with him one of these days.)

  • The Visual Pitch for Neil Soquet's sharp thriller "Threes" was instrumental in securing A-list attention for the project.
  • The guys at Nite Kite Entertainment used their Visual Pitch to secure funding for their romantic comedy "Kate & Co."
  • Funny guy Peter Spencer's Visual Pitch for "The Last British Execution" was on our homepage for all of 1800 seconds before it got a script request from Riverview Films. Peter can tell you all about it.
  • Writer Mike Scherer won the My Visual Pitch .com 2007 Pitch Your Niche! Summer Contest and went on to work with Unk to put the final polish on his screenplay "Turnabout." Don't know Unk? You should. Because Unk knows everybody.
  • Actors: MVP's very own Susan M. Lockwood got a voiceover gig through her Visual Pitch work for the site.
  • Writer Kathryn Radmall credits her Visual Pitches with helping her find an agent. She now has representation and several projects in the works.
  • More artist are signing up all the time, so check back often to read about their successes! (Don't worry… we'll shout it out when it happens.)
